The head office is located 3 minute-walk to the west of Imadegawa subway station on the Karasuma line of the Kyoto city subway. It is located in pleasant surroundings with both traditional old buildings and modern apartment buildings.

The head office is on the third floor of "Sen'i kaikan" building shared by the Japanese Federation of the Deaf and others.

We have 6 staff members : one head officer, two full-time staffs and three part-time staff. Our main work is accounting, editing of "Sign Language Interpreter Problem Research" magazine, coordination the investigation and research that each department does, paperwork concerning meetings and receiving orders and sending out books and videos and etc. It is not as spacious here as the head office. Telephone and fax reception is the main work. We try to make the head office familiar to you.

Kyoto Imperial Palace is near the office. Various trees grow in abundance, and it is famous as place for residents to relax where it can enjoy air in every seasons.

Moreover, threre is Doshisha University to the north side of Kyoto Imperial Palace, and a lot of young people come and go in surroundings of the office. Please drop by this office when you visit near here.
